  NEPO undertakes high-value procurement in major strategic areas of spend in conjunction with North East local authorities and a range of associate members. Who can procure through the framework? NEPO its available to all public sector organisations including local authorities, educational establishments, emergency services and NHS bodies. Although the framework focuses on the North East, public sector organisations outside of the North East can also make use of the framework. What services can your organisation procure through the framework? The framework comprises of four lots:

• Domestic Energy Performance Certificates
• Commercial Energy Performance Certificates
• Display Energy Certificates
• Air Conditioning Inspections (TM44)

Compliance365 have been awarded 1st place on the contract with NEPO for Commercial EPCs and Display Energy Certificates. What are the benefits of procuring through a framework? The NEPO framework allows organisations to direct award to contractors ranked first on each lot which provides a quick route to market and diminishes the need for lengthy procurement and tender processes. Using an OJEU complaint framework reduces procurement costs and administration time, whilst ensuring each supplier has been approved and verified. The framework also ensures that domestic and commercial properties are able to meet energy efficiency standards by complying with the Minimum Efficiency Standard (MEES) legislation.
